[AMD] Postdoctoral Research Associate
Dr.-Ing. Abhishek Khetan studied Mechanical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in India after which he did his PhD at RWTH Aachen University in the area of computational modelling of batteries, fuel cells and exhaust-gas catalysts. He completed a one year post-doctoral stint at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh where he worked with collaborators from IBM and NASA to design Li-O2 Batteries for electric aircraft.
His is keenly interested in first principles and statistical modelling of phenomena in energy applications and catalysis. Apart from these, he is interested in data-driven modelling for materials discovery.
